Boys Rites of Passage is a Christian-based program that helps bring young, African-American males to manhood and teaches them to be leaders in their families and community. The program seeks to assist boys in acquiring the ability to demonstrate the three principles of the program—Discipline, Reverence, and Respect—and to understand the Seven Levels of Manhood: Heritage, Etiquette, Family, Faith, Basic Skills, Survival, and Resource Control. Boys Rites of Passage meets on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month at 8:30 am.As technology has advanced, and with new challenges brought on by: natural disasters, pandemics and social instability living present in our modern times, planning and programming is underway to enhance the program and make some of its classroom and community activities available via the internet. Cade Circle provides support to our members who reside in assisted living facilities.
It is the purpose of Cade Circle to serve as a beam of Christian light in the lives of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church members, and others, who reside in convalescent home care. Comprised primarily of Seasoned Saints, the Celestial Choir honors God through the lifting of their voices in song.

This ministry seeks to support and evangelize to those who are incarcerated, and provide resources to them and their families.
All 6th-12th graders are welcome to join the Chapel Choir as they praise God through song.

HIV/AIDS Support provides awareness and assistance to the community through faith-based education.
The HIV Awareness and Prevention Ministry provides faith-based education and awareness to communities at risk for contracting HIV. In addition, we provide home care services as needed, offer support to the Bering Omega House in the Montrose area and education/support for individuals living with HIV. We are available to the youth, college, and young adult ministries for HIV education.
