Ready! Set! VOTE!
As we prepare for the 2023 Municipal Elections, it is critical that you be heard as we stand together for the good of our city and state and for the future of our children. On Sep 23rd at 10 am on the WABC campus, the Social Justice Ministry is hosting a Voter Education Workshop to equip you as an informed voter. Although this is not a presidential election, many items are on the ballot that have the potential to have an immediate and significant impact on our community’s well-being.
Partnering with the Office of Elections Administration, other community partners, and our elected officials, we will be discussing several topics including: Voter Eligibility, Residency Requirements, Vote-by-Mail, and ADA Assistance. Come and gain pertinent information about the propositions and proposed amendments on the ballot this year and how they may affect you. There also will be voting machines present for tutorials and folks to assist individuals with completing their mail-in ballot requests. Come out so that YOU will be informed and ready to make your voice heard!
