Justice Rising: Faith Dismantling Injustice Virtual Forum on May 21st and 22nd is hosted by the WABC Social Justice ministry. Look to be educated and equipped as we continue the mission of Christ to end oppression. Stand with us for social justice and equality. The Bible says faith without works is dead. And we believe JUSTICE RISES when we use our FAITH to disrupt systems of oppression and injustice!

This two-day virtual forum is jam packed with:

• A Dynamic Keynote Address given by U. S. Senator Rev. Dr. Raphael Warnock;

• Panels with prominent politicians, community leaders, and activists on the topics of Policing in Houston and How to Stand Against Voter Suppression; and

• Breakout Sessions hosted by our ministry subcommittees focused on Criminal Justice Reform, Education Reform, Community Resource Development, Legislative Reform, and Voter Engagement.

Invited Speakers include: U. S. Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Texas State Senator Borris Miles, NAACP Houston Chapter President Rev. Dr. James Dixon, Former Houston County Clerk Chris Hollins, Houston Police Dept. Assist Chief Chandra Hatcher, Constable Precinct 7 Captain Marcus Grant.
