Sharing Jesus Without Fear
(In-person and Zoom) Mondays 7 pm - 8:30 pm 3/11/25 - 4/22/24
This revised edition of the popular evangelism resource presents a simple and relational approach to witnessing that underscores the dependence of God's power for the results. Birthed out of the life-transformation of its author (former brothel-owner turned Christ-follower), this method teaches believers how to navigate a witnessing conversation in everyday situations.
The Cost of Discipleship
(In-person and Zoom) Thursdays 7 pm - 8:15 pm 3/7/25 - 4/25/24
The purpose of this study will take a look at the life of this great German Theologian. Bonhoeffer was one of the founders of the Confessing Church, he was part of the Christian opposition at the rise of Adolf Hitler, Germany's Despot Chancellor. His Theology was not reticent to sit on the sidelines and watch the destruction of persons of Jewish faith, he believed the German Church had acquiesced to Hitler, and as result the masses thought that he was set to unify Germany. Most important to Bonhoeffer was his ability to crystalize the true cost of discipleship into to terms, costly grace and cheap grace. We will explore the book that he authored, but also we will explore the man himself. Many consider Dietrich as one the most significant theologians of the 20th century.
