Attention High School Seniors, it is now time to register for the WABC Educational Grant! The deadline is Friday, May 29, 2020 at 5:00pm. All applicants are required to attend one mandatory course in order to be eligible for the grant.
2020 High School Graduating Seniors, your church wants to support you through your next steps! Please complete the Educational Grant Application and the mandatory Grant Session. To access the application visit the events page of our website at www.wheelerbc.org. The session will be emailed to all persons who have registered for a session via the events page on the website, you have until Monday, May 11, 2020 to register. Contact Rev. Applicant must be a member of WABC for a minimum of 12 months prior to the application deadline. Applicants must graduate from an accredited high school or present an acceptable GED score during the 2019-2020 school year. Applicant must present proof of enrollment into a post-secondary institution to the WABC Accounting office before funds are awarded. The institution can be open to any course of study as long as the curriculum meets the generally accepted standard of accreditation from applicable state and/or federal agencies.
Applicant must submit an Educational Grant Application, essay, three letters of recommendation, official high school transcript or GED Certification, and a headshot photograph. An application packet (see check list) MUST be submitted on or before the application deadline, Friday, May 29, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. Applicants are required to attend one mandatory course offered at Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church in order to be eligible to receive the full grant amount.
