The Wheeler Avenue Stephen Ministry, a division of Congregational Care, is a spiritual care model that offers hope for recovery in grief and health challenges.  Through mentoring partnerships, the Stephen Ministers serve as visionary guides for parishioners through seasons of despair, dismay and distress.  As the process of healing occurs, the care receivers experience encounters with disciplines of the Christian faith that promote transformation through the liberating power of God’s Holy Spirit.

To receive spiritual care and support for homebound and hospitalized members, to obtain care during bereavement and assistance with preparation of home-going services as well as grief counseling following bereavement, contact Rev. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.
